Adding a taxi fare price calculator to any website is easy. First, provide settings used to calculate the taxi journey price. This is done from the taxi company member profile section. The only required setting is the price charged per mile of a taxi journey. However, further values that determine how the fare is calculated can be specified. Some examples: initial charge, peak hours, different vehicles, discounts, airport transfer pricing, and more.

Once settings are entered, the calculator is implemented as a website plug-in. 3 lines of code are provided. These should be inserted in to the taxi company website where the calculator will appear. Customers can then plot journeys on the map receiving an accurate fare price estimate in real time. If enabled, the TaxiMap booking system then collects further customer journey details, sending them to the cab firm by SMS text message and/or email. The taxi booking system is fully integrated so cab drivers are notified and booking confirmation is sent to the customer.
